MOTOR
|
5 amp
gear motor which rotates at variable speeds up to 325 rpm is mounted in a
housing which is held on the frame with 4 bolts. This motor has a direct
drive system that connects snake drum by means of a spring loaded latch. On
the side of the motor housing is a reversing lever and a gfi electric shock
protector. The housing has spring clips to hold an on/off foot pedal with
6ft. cord.

FRAME
|
The well
balanced combination frame and carrying handle has 4 non-slip, no-mar feet.
A 5th foot allows the unit to be laid back for sink work.

CARRYING
|
By
separating the drum from the carrying frame, a maximum of 23 lbs. can be
carried in each hand. Many plumbers go down the stack from the roof with
the PRO-XL before carrying a larger machine to the roof to break a
stoppage. It works most of the time!

|
LARGE
DRUM
|
Holds
3/8" x 75' of snake and is equipped with a tee bolt in the nose for
locking the snake so it rotates with the drum for hard jobs.
|
|
|
SNORKEL
|
A
non-rotating 4ft. stainless steel snorkel is mounted on the narrow drum. It
holds 50' of 1/4" snake for cleaning sinks, tubs and showers. While
holding the snorkel in one hand the snake is fed into the drain with the
other. The foot pedal controls snake rotation.

EXCLUSIVE
FEATURE
|
The
motor used for the PRO-XL is capable of slowing down and it is matched to
the snake so that when the snake encounters resistance going down through a
bend, or in a difficult stoppage, instead of kinking the snake, the drum
slows down. This slow down prevents kinking and prolongs the life of the snake.
